Towcester Ladies Cricket was formed in 2004. With over twenty five registered players of all ages we've enjoyed five successful seasons and have provided a constant stream of players to the Northants Senior County Squad. We have also been awarded the NCAWG "Club of the Year 2004". In season training is on Tuesday evening at 6.30 pm. Players of all abilities are most welcome.
A very depleated Tows side was well beaten by Lutterworth who posted a score of 239/7 in
their 40 overs. Katie Scott top scored with 60* although Extras was the main contibutor with 68
including an embarrassing 55 wides.
In reply Tows could only manage 93, only Katie Taylor
(31) and

Another good win on Sunday in a rain affected match. Clifton were restricted to 116
in their 40
overs - Becky English (3/30) and Jenny Williams (1/10). Zehmarad Afzal led the successful run
chase with
49 not out, supported by Claire Corcoran (18) and Gemma English (16 no), to record

The Ladies continued their good start to the season with a 4 wicket win over Burton
Latimer.
The target of 161 was based on an excellent 93 not out from
Burton's Laura
Tonks.
Zehmarad
Afzal was the pick of the Tows bowlers with 3/25. Jenni Schanschieff
led the reply with 76 not out
with support from Jenny Williams (27) and Marie McKenna

An exellent start to the Midlands League season. Ransom &
Marles 2nd XI were demolished,
being bowled out for 83 in just 15 overs. Jenny Williams (4 wickets) and Katie
Taylor (3)
did the
damage. In reply a 43 run partnership between Jenni Schanschieff (28 no) and
Jenny Williams
