Midsummer Ball 2008

Believe it or not – Summer is upon us!!.  Well, not exactly, but it is time to start thinking of Summer - and of course the Towcestrians Summer Ball.  The anticipation of another great evening is growing and I am delighted to confirm that ticket and table bookings can now be taken.   

The successful format of previous years will again be replicated for this year's event with a few new ideas  – and you’ll have to turn up to find out what these are! 

It is now acknowledged that the Towcestrians Mid Summer Ball is an opportunity for ALL club members to have a really good night out – together. 

Following the success of this event over the past 4 years, it is clearly the desire of the players, members and their guests to attend an event which is recognised as the biggest event of its kind in the South Northants social calendar.  Several tables are already reserved and a number of enquiries have been received by the organising committee from members, vice presidents and sponsors, as this event is grows in popularity with friends and acquaintances of Towcestrians – many of whom are travelling great distances to join us for this special occasion.

It is anticipated that a number of Sports, Local and County Civic representatives and dignitaries will join us for this ‘Black Tie’ event, which gives everyone a chance to dress up – especially enjoyed by the ladies, and increasingly popular with the guys too!  Tickets for this year’s event are held at £45.00, to include a champagne reception, three-course dinner followed by dancing to live music and a late disco!

Many members have requested/recommended that we continue with the popular booking format of previous years where members and their guests book in tables of 10 places.  

Please note, whereas last year we had 670 dining, the number of tickets this year will be restricted to a maximum of 600.  Therefore we suggest that you secure your table with a non-refundable deposit of 25% or a cheque for the full amount, payable to Towcestrians.

This promises to be another great Towcestrians evening.  See you there!
