Isham 2nd XI V TOWCESTRIANS 2nd XI
Towcestrians 2nd XI started their new season with a draw away at Isham. Isham batted first and were dismissed for 156. Sean Duffy and Jimmy Baldwin (4-27) bowled with control at the start of the innings and were well supported by Andy Roberts (4-41) and Henry Drage (2-41).
In reply Tows looked to be cruising to victory as Andy Roberts (52) and David Roberts (64) put on 89 for the first wicket. Shaun Wills then ripped through the Towcestrians middle order taking 6 wickets for just 8 runs. Sean Duffy and Micky Clark survived the last couple of overs leaving Tows narrowly avoiding defeat on 143 for 9.
