Syresham V TOWCESTRIANS
Tows Sunday XI got their season back on track this week with a convincing 7 wicket victory over Syresham.
Tows bowled first and struck early with wickets from Sean Duffy(4-32) and Alex Desborough (2-11). Syresham battled hard and made it tough for Tows before Steve Emerson (2-25) and the return of Duffy eventually restricted Syresham out for 119.
In reply Tows got off to a shaky start losing two early wickets with some tight bowling from the hosts, but some power hitting from Nick Howard (52) and Capatin Henry Drage (40no) allowed Tows to cruise to victory with 21 overs to spare.
Next Week Tows travel to Buckingham.
