6 Nations Rugby Lunch

A huge thank you to all those who came and supported the Rugby Lunch Eng v Ireland. Although the dining numbers were a little down of previous occasions due to ALL the players playing, there was none the less a fantastic atmosphere created by both sets of supporters and although the Irish contingent had their Grand Slam and Triple Crown dreams shattered, everyone had a great time as by the time kick off arrived the clubhouse was packed and even sounds of Swing Low could be heard!

A huge thank you to George Newton and his Tennis Section team for helping prepare and serve a great meal and a special thank you to guest Chef Mark Masiak for serving up a very tasty Irish Stew.

The Welsh make the trip to Twickenham on Sunday the 9th for a 3.00 pm Kick Off. Remember what happened last year? Revenge is in the air! The anticipation will be immense in the build up to what could be the determining game of the championship. Tows bar will be open from lunchtime to help soak up the atmosphere and hot food will be available for purchase. If anyone is interested in attending please contact John English to reserve the best seat in town!
