An Appeal

Hi All,

As parents  we all know the importance of children in our lives and the devastation that would unfold if a loved one was to be lost ….. please follow the links through to read a small amount of Robbie and Kate’s life changing story.

Below you will find information that has been provided by Liam Wilkinson to help promote fundraising for Pre-eclampsia.

Please help support Liam, Robbie, Richard & Tom by purchasing your own pair of #4theo socks, the M&J section will give players permission to wear the socks in matches until the end of the season, there is lots of interest already being shown so please support where you can it will be most appreciated.

On Sunday 24th April 2016 Liam Wilkinson and 3 of his lifelong friends, Robbie Crussell, Richard Carter and Tom Clarke are running the Virgin London Marathon, in memory of Robbie’s son Theo and to raise awareness of the condition Pre-eclampsia. Pre-eclampsia is a serious condition which affects thousands of pregnant women in the UK every year.

Please follow this link if you would like to read about our own experience of Pre-eclampsia and our reasons for fundraising and running the London Marathon. http://www.4theo.co.uk/news/2015/8/21/our-first-ever-marathon and also Kate’s friend  Francesca  abseil  of Northampton’s National Lift Tower which height is 418 feet.

Our fundraising target is £8000 and we are currently nearing £6000 thanks to the generosity of friends, family and associates.

To help us reach our fundraising target we have designed some special edition rugby socks which the club have given permission for the senior teams and Colts to wear on the weekend of the 9th April in their respective games. There will be representatives from the charity at the club during the weekend with information on the disorder.

We have junior sizes on order and we would like to involve the mini and juniors and parents in the fundraising. The socks are £5 per pair and if we sell all pairs we stand to raise £900 towards our target.

Thank you for your help
