Business Scrum – 4th February

We are really pleased to be hosting our first business scrum event at Towcestrians on 4th February

The idea of the Business Scrum is a membership based business forum that will be used to promote businesses locally, suppliers, services and trades to maximise referral and supporting Business Scrum Members, but without the formality of a “usual” networking group.

Mark Ashton, CEO Oxford United will be our guest speaker for the night where he will be giving a motivational speech followed by a Q&A session.

Presently CEO at Oxford United Football Club since July 2014. Mark was formerly the youngest CEO in English Premier League history at Watford Football Club, and Director of West Bromwich Albion Football Club. Working for over 20 years within the football industry, achievements include promotion from the Championship to the Premiership on three occasions plus an additional two play-off campaigns, FA Cup semi-final and League Cup semi-final. Mark has extensive experience in running successful clubs on a controlled and tight budget, which included the development of robust scouting and recruitment models along with profitable player trading. His expertise and passion includes enhancing commercial revenue streams and developing community and education programmes that engage the local community with its football club and deliver genuine return on investment.

Cost for this evening is just £10 per person (business scrum membership required) and includes a single course home cooked meal
