New Season Sports

It’s spring, haven’t you noticed? The cricketers have been having senior and indoor nets for the last couple of months and will soon be moving outside to practice and also begin their league season in early May. The seniors having been promoted last year, now come against local rivals Greens Norton and Silverstone many of whose players were taught their cricket at Tows and indeed many played for Tows. Should be some interesting encounters. If anyone is interested in playing, just turn up on Tuesday night to net practice!

This season, they are once again going to be having a BBQ on Friday evenings throughout the summer when the juniors are practicing and the bar will be open, so even if you aren’t playing and watching the kids, you can have a bite to eat and the odd libation or a cup of fresh coffee!

The new season of summer tennis is also about to get under way this weekend with a tournament.

There is a brand new coaching team lead by Paul Valentine, who will be holding special group sessions throughout the year as well as one to one coaching with his team of 3. Contact coaching@towcestrianstennis.com

Young tennis players of all ages are encouraged to join and have lessons also. Visit the Tennis section website for more info..
