Playoff Day

As you will have seen we sadly missed out on promotion on Saturday but Towcestrians put on a show worthy of any club in the country. It was a great and dramatic game of rugby on the field but a true Tows day out.

Many thanks to Oz and Donna for organising at very short notice, a true rugby lunch of traditional grub, prepared, cooked and served all by volunteers of Tows from different sections of the club. Special thanks goes to Kitchen Staff, Teresa, Julie, Sam, Adam and Gill. Front of house delivered by the U16’s and George as Maître D’. A fantastic team effort fully appreciated by the 125 guests attending. Visiting Chard guests and supporters also had great praise for our wonderful facilities and hospitality as well.

Thanks also to the Cricket section who have been running the BBQ from February and providing great food and they had their best day on Saturday and are looking forward to providing more next year with an improved menu to include hot soup!
