Towcestrians joined in together with thousands of others up and down the country in holding a special service and lighting of a Beacon of Remembrance.
There was a short service held by Reverend Lulu, with contributions from 2 young Towcestrians with 2 readings.
A role of honour was read out of the Greens Norton men who had fallen in WW1, the flag lowered by the Royal
British Legion and the Last Post played by a bugler.
The Beacon was then lit by our Chairman Frank Osborne. A fitting tribute from us at Tows for those that gave their lives for us.
Thank you to all that were involved in putting this event together and to the 100 or so people who turned up to support it!
