An unfortunate defeat for the firsts this week all three of Leamington goals being scored from short corners did not reflect the match at all . Tows moved the ball with ease but the goals proved illusive. Player of the match was Gemma English who dispossessed Leamington on countless occasions. Next weeks clash is a home game at Northampton high school vs local rivals Kettering push back 9am

A tough game for Towcester 2’S against a very experienced and physical Hinckley team. After a slow start from Towcester, the team found themselves behind early on in the first half making a comeback quite difficult. The whole team worked tirelessly and the performance in the second half did not reflect the 7-0 scoreline to Hinckley. Special mention should go to Izzy Plumbridge who worked hard in defence and to Katherine who her debut for the 2s up front.

Towcester 3s took on an experienced wellingborough 2s side and fought hard for the whole game. Wellingborough started strong with lots of the play, but did not really challenge Su Christopher in Goal. As the first half progressed there were some great runs from India Cooke and Lucy Plumbridge to start pressuring the wellingborough defence. Sacha Percival and AC Mackaness were influential in the midfield on their debut performance. Half time score 0-0. After a breather towcester came out fighting for victory, dominating the game from the whistle, lots of great passing from midfield to our attackers Laura Moran, hettie seager, Zoe Phillips and Billie tingley. Unfortunately some good goalkeeping from wellingborough preventing that much deserved goal. Against the run of play wellingborough managed to find the back of the net and take the lead. Towcester continued to make some great attacks and were awarded our first short corner of the game. Karen green stepped up from defence to take the shot from the top of the D and what a strike it was, 1-1. It was then end to end play as both teams created chances, 1-1 final score. Goal scorer Karen Green was voted player of the match in what was another great match
