Towcestrians Wine Club

Towcestrians Wine Club meets on the Last Thursday of the month 7.30 for an 8pm start. In the members lounge at the clubhouse in Greens Norton Road, Towcester.
£18 DD per month to join. But if you would like to come along for a couple of sessions to see if you like it…£20 cash on the night, please.
We taste 8 wines with a buffet of cheeses, cold and cured meats, pies and breads and more to complement the grape juice. Plus some fantastically interesting and entertaining guest speakers come and give us their knowledge.

• March 30th is ‘Tour de France by Wine’ with guest speaker Amanda Rowley from Defining Wines.
• April 27th we have Mike Taylor from North Oxfordshire Wines. We will be tasting 8 noble grapes varieties.
• May 25th the evening will have Great wines from the ‘ooh! They do make great wines, don’t they!’ countries, including Lebanon and Greece.
• June 29th As the British and Irish Lions are in the middle of their test series down under. We will be exploring the wines of New Zealand, and finding out it’s not just Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough!
