Weekend Update

Towcestrians recorded a clean sweep this weekend as all 7 Senior Hockey and Rugby Teams won.

The Rugby section were led by an on the road win against Reading, one of the league’s strongest teams beating them 7-21 to take them 3rd in South West East Div 1, whilst the Development Team put nearly 80 points on old rivals Old Scouts who threw the towel in 10 minutes before the end!

The Ultimates won a close fought battle away from home edging Sharnbrook and Colbrook by 3 points and the Colts bounced back to winning ways by scoring 22 unanswered points against local rivals BBOB!

Towcestrians Ladies Hockey teams all won on Saturday with remarkably not a single goal conceded by any side!

The 1st team got their season back on track with a 1-0 win away at Wellingborough whilst the 2nd Team had a top of the table clash with Daventry in an early start away from home and put away their league challengers with a convincing 5-0 victory!

Congratulations to the 3rd Team who thumped Kettering at home 6-0 to lift them off the bottom of the table!
