Towcestrians very own Rory Hammond (U11’s) has been selected after stiff competition which included a video presentation to lead out one of the World Cup match as see live across the world!
This is how he got the news from one of the World Cup Sponsors!
“Dear Rory,
Firstly, on behalf of everyone at Land Rover, thank you very much for auditioning to become an Official Mascot for Rugby World Cup 2015.
Over the past year, we have received thousands of fantastic auditions from all around the globe, making it an incredibly tough job for our two judges, Rugby World Cup winners Jason Robinson and Lewis Moody. But after careful deliberation and some tough decisions, they have now made their decision on who will be offered a role as a mascot to lead a team out at Rugby World Cup 2015.
It therefore gives me great delight in being able to tell you that you have been chosen as one of our lucky winners.
Jason (Robinson) and Lewis (Moody) were incredibly impressed by the passion and energy you demonstrated in your audition and are sure that you will do a fantastic job as an Official Rugby World Cup 2015 Mascot.”
