Cricket Update

May 19, 2014 / By: Mark Masiak / In:

Tows Cricket team played at their new temporary “home” venue at Blakesley for the first time and played against local rivals Silverstone, containing many ex-Tows players. This was always going to be a spectacular game with a lot of banter! Tows were really up for it and thanks to a century from opener Elliot Parish set the scene for some awesome scoring with the ball going to all parts of the ground and frequently out of it! Tin hats were the order of the day. (must check our public liability insurance!) Tows set a forbidding target which despite some lusty blows from David Williams were never in the contest and Tows ran out comfortable winners.
