Notice is given of an Extraordinary General Meeting on Wednesday 23rd March at 7.30pm in the main clubhouse.
Due to the impending change of rules by HMRC on Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) status it has become necessary to make an amendment to the legal and accounting structure of the club as of the 1st April. In order for the club’s sporting sections to maintain CASC Status and for the club to continue to benefit from substantial rates relief and gift aid that CASC status brings, we have been advised to set up a Limited Company, trading subsidiary to take on the non-member commercial activities of the club.
