The Magnificent Towcestrians 1st XV whitewashed a powerful Devises team with a bonus point win running in a five try victory to secure a home fixture in the promotion playoffs on the 26th April here at Greens Norton Lane. See the full match day report by Mark Austin on the rugby website. Make a large note in your diary for April 26th to come and support the Tows try to secure a win to take them into the National Leagues for the first time in over 20 years!

A strong Development team despatched Ampthill away by a cricket score whilst the Ultimates (3rds) beat a Brackley 2nds side away in another impressive win.

Sadly the colts lost in the Semi-final of the Referees Cup again to Buckingham

Congratulations to the U17’s who last week won their Midlands Shield final to progress to the National Shield Semi-final away at Blaydon RFC, a fantastic performance and great achievement! Well done!

This week sees the Seniors leave our shores for their Easter Tour to Rouen in France. This could see the re-emergence of the worsening of Anglo French relationships or the revival of the “en tant cordial”. Either way a top tip would be to buy stocks in French breweries! Good luck boys we wish you well, God help the locals…………..
