The 1st XV travelled to Leighton Buzzard who are never easy to beat and so it proved. Tows dogged out a win but it was a little bit “after the Lord Mayor’s Show” syndrome following the magnificent previous performance against Salisbury. Still “a win is a win” as our illustrious photographer observed! You can see James Rudd’s photos of the game by following his Flickr link
Robbie George, Director of Rugby, told our editor that he was “disappointed with the performance”! a full match report from Jim Wallis our chief Sports reporter can be found on the rugby website. Tows entertain Witney at home this Saturday. Witney currently lie 3rd so this fixture could really go a long way to defining the outcome of the league.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! Once again Sally Lisa and the catering team will be laying on a super home cooked rugby lunch for a FIVER! Pay on the day but please let us know if you are going as we ran out last time….
