Sports Update

Rugby had another clean sweep with all the senior teams winning, most notably the 1st Xv at Home against their closest rivals Maidenhead who traveled to Greens Norton Lane with similar results! Until that is they came across the “Mighty Tows” who in the end won comfortably running in 5 tries to one! Although Tows dominated the first half the slim 2 point lead at half time didn’t reflect the true position and after the break, Tows cut loose with some scintillating rugby. A source close to Robbie George said:

“following a difficult first half where we dominated without scoring as we should have done, we then came out and played some of our best rugby of the season so far!”

The 1st XV are now 4 points clear in their league whilst the 2nds are second in theirs and play again old rival ON’s who are top on Saturday! Should be a cracker! The 3rd Xv are some12 points clear at the top of their league whilst the Colts are propping up the EMMJRA U18 Colts Premiership!
