We had a fantastic evening at the club in May at our Cricket Sportsman’s Dinner with guest speaker Jonathon “Aggers” Agnew. It was widely accepted that he was one of the best speakers the club has ever had and he kept everyone, cricket devotees and non-cricketers alike spellbound for over an hour with lots of laughs an anecdotes, ending with a lively Q & A session and finishing with his famous radio clip of Botham “getting his leg over!”.

New Development – Update

You may have felt nothing has been happening, but behind the scenes there has been a huge amount going on! The complexities of buying the land have been long and fraught, with many last-minute obstacles to overcome and at least 5 sets of lawyers to agree but we are nearly there. We hope to announce very soon the land purchase.
